BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Cardiologist, Doctor of Medicine. Physician of the Cardiology Service and Principal Investigator of the Research Laboratory of the Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid. Representative of the Nucleus of the Cardiovascular Regenerative and Reconstructive Medicine Working Group of the European Society of Cardiology. Member of the NextGen Council of the Science and Technology Foundation of Armenia. Former co-founder and coordinator of the citizen initiative Ciencia in the Parliament of Spain. Born in Yerevan (Armenia), she emigrated to Santiago de Compostela (Spain) when she was 14 years old. After completing his Baccalaureate studies with Honors in Santiago, he entered the Faculty of Medicine in the same city. Later, she defended her Doctoral Thesis at the University of Santiago and was awarded the Extraordinary Doctorate Prize. He completed his Residency in Cardiology at the University Hospital of Vigo and postdoctoral studies at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles (USA). Throughout her professional career, she was awarded by different medical-scientific societies and organizations with ten prizes and distinctions. She is the co-author of nearly 100 scientific publications in high-impact journals and 20 book chapters.

Born in Yerevan in 1978, he emigrated to Spain with the family in 1993. Graduated in medicine in 2004, MIR of pediatrics at Hospital de Cruces, specialized in Intensive Care, since 2008 he works in the Balearic Pediatric Transport unit (interhospital transport of children and critical neonates) and Pediatric Intensive Care at the Son Espases University Hospital in Palma de Mallorca. Resident tutor, member of the teaching commission since he is MIR. Active participation in the humanitarian aspect of medicine, being part of the “Doctor as a humanist” initiative and a member of the NGO “Aikido for La Paz” dedicated to international cooperation.
Artur Sharluyan

Nara Andreasyan Aleksanyan received her education at the Faculty of Midwifery with a specialty in Martona at the Hrazdán State Medical School (Armenia). She worked as a Nurse on Duty and Operations in the Endo-surgical Unit and in the General Surgery Unit at the Hrazdán Regional Hospital. She obtained the homologation of the title of Midwife to the official Spanish University title of Diploma in Nursing. In Spain, he completed a Master’s Degree in Pediatric Palliative Care at the International University of La Rioja. He worked in the Emergency Service of the Prince of Asturias University Hospital (Madrid). He currently works in the Colorectal, Endocrine and Abdominal Wall Surgery Unit at Hospital Universitario Donostia. Parallel to her career, she was engaged in voluntary missions, the latest in the recent armed conflict in Artsakh.
